WHAT does this LOGO MEAN?
The logo of a bird's shadow nestled within a mug adorned with a vintage key carries profound symbolism. The bird's shadow means freedom, imagination, and the ethereal nature of dreams, mirroring the boundless creativity and inspiration found within the closet of artworks. The mug, reminiscent of a vessel or container, symbolizes nourishment and reminds to a repository of visions waiting to be explored, much like treasures stored within a closet. The vintage key suggests that unlocking the door to one's imagination holds the key to accessing a world of endless possibilities and artistic wonders. Overall, I tried to create a logo that encapsulates the essence of artistic exploration, imagination, and the endless journey of self-discovery.

I am an artist, an illustrator and a live painter.
But, more than that, an empathic and highly-sensitive person who travels on this planet telling and painting stories.
ART STATEMENT 

Dreams are my main source of inspiration, serving as a gateway to the subconscious world that lies inside us. My research focuses on the hidden forces of Nature, old tales, mysteries of unconsciousness, the necessity of conjugating and harmonizing real and surreal entities in order to understand ourselves and the others. In order to find our wholeness.

I am drawn to storytelling, especially through the lens of fairy tales and mythology. I find myself illustrating not just stories, but life experiences in a symbolic language. Each detail, carries a piece of a story or a meaningful symbolic moment, like snapshots of the human inner world.

For me, art is a way to filter reality through the lens of emotion. It's about capturing life's complexities and presenting them in a digestible way, inviting viewers to explore different perspectives. Through storytelling and emotive imagery, I aim to peel back the layers of human experience, revealing the beauty and depth within.

Acrylic and oil are my favorite mediums. When people contemplate my art, I love watching them, interacting with them, listening to their thoughts, feeling their emotions. It is such an enriching and meaningful experience: probably the best part of the whole process.

More about my journey

  • I am a sleepwalker and, apparently, my favorite place to go as a sleepwalker is the balcony.
    No matter what’s the temperature outside.

  • Very often I experience LUCID DREAMS. It can be overwhelming when I am not quite sure whether I am dreaming or not. 

  • I have worked in a PRISON!
    Yep, the place is Kilmainham Gaol, one of the most important national monuments  in Ireland.

  • I am a trained YOGA TEACHER  and a SKIPPER. 
    I love sea and its creatures, traveling slowly, staying still in an ancient position till my body and mind become one.

  • Once, I PAINTED the BODY of a woman.
    The body painting “AGAINST THE MAFIA” became a video and it was featured by important newspapers. Scroll down to watch it! 

  • DOGS
     make me laugh ♥ Innocent and ADORABLE creatures! Totò, a famous Italian actor, used to say:“The dog is halfway between a BABY and an ANGEL”♥

  • Once, I was sitting on a bench when I saw a guy passing by and I thought: “Maybe that guy over there…maybe he will be my husband!”. We got married a few yrs later.

  • My favorite book is
    “LA DIVINA COMMEDIA” by Dante Alighieri. It tells the story of Dante and his journey in the afterlife. This book changed my life forever.
